Leica Biosystems HEMATOXYLIN COUNTERSTAIN
Hematoxylin Counterstain is designed to be used in conjunction with BOND Polymer Refine HRP Plex Detection kit (DS9914) and our chromogen reagents. Hematoxylin is the most commonly used nuclear histological counterstain and our Hematoxylin Counterstain provides excellent contrast with a variety of chromogens, especially with our Blue Chromogen (DC9896) and Green Chromogen (DC9913).Hematoxylin Counterstain is supplied in a volume of 15 mL.
Abcam Picro-Sirius Red Stain Kit (Cardiac Muscle)
Picro-Sirius Red Stain Kit (Cardiac Muscle) ab245887 is intended for use in the histological visualization of thin septa and collagen fibers. This modification of the Picro-Sirius Red stain eliminates the yellow cytoplasmic staining that can obscure thin collagenous septa. Using this procedure easily allows viewing of collagenous septa as thin as 0.2-0.5 microns. The PSR stain may be viewed using standard light microscopy or polarized light resulting in birefringence of the collagen fibers.

Biotium REDDOT2 FAR RED NUCLEAR STAIN
RedDot™2 is a far-red cell membrane-impermeable nuclear dye similar to Draq7™ with excitation/emission at 665/695 nm. The dye is ideal for specifically staining the nuclei of dead cells with minimal cytoplasmic RNA staining. RedDot™2 provides excellent nuclear counterstaining in fixed and permeabilized cells and tissue sections without the need for RNase treatment to remove cytoplasmic RNA. The dye is highly thermostable and photostable, providing convenient handling and ideal for demanding applications such as confocal microscopy. RedDot™2 also has been used for cell number normalization for near-infrared In Cell Western™. The excitation maximum of RedDot™2 is 665 nm, but it can be efficiently excited by wavelengths from 488 to 647 nm, and therefore can be used with the 488 nm flow cytometry laser line. Supplied as a 200X stock solution in DMSO, 250 uL. In Cell Western is a trademark of LI-COR® Biosciences.
